Hello Betty: Tourism Horror Comics began as an adaptation of one family’s postcards (found at an estate sale) into a horror comic. The larger project combines vintage postcards and old comics into a series of comics exploring the legacy of settler colonialism on the U.S. National Park system. Excerpts from these “Tourism Horror Comics” have appeared in the publications below. Hello Betty comic books will begin being released in 2024!
